InScript (short for Indian Script) is the standard keyboard layout for Indian scripts using a standard 104 or 105 key layout. This is a keyboard layout standardized by the Government of India (GoI), and has gone through some revisions based on evolution in Unicode standards. Inscript keyboard layout is somewhat popular with Hindi Journalists who are required to write blogs or articles on Internet. The reality however is that despite being a GoI standard, practically all the typing in government offices still happens using the Remington layout. It is extremely hard to change the typing habits of a natural typist. Inscript Keyboard Layout is also used in many government typing examination such as SSC Typing Test & Data Entry Test Examination. Inscript keyboard works with Mangal Hindi font and same is used in SSC Typing Test & Data Entry Exams for Typing.

3. Phonetic Hindi Keyboard
Phonetic means 'Type as you Speak'. All Hindi Transliteration software works on Phonetic Keyboard Layout. Writing Devanagari words using phonetic keyboard is as easy as writing our names in English. For example, मेरा भारत महान can be written as merA bhArat mahAn. Devanagari script used for Sanskrit, Hindi, and Marathi languages are supported in Baraha.
